  • From AI Innovation to AI Execution: Insights from London Tech Week

Following London Tech Week 2026 at Olympia earlier this week, we've been reflecting on the market trends shaping enterprise technology and what they mean for customer value. Key themes that stood out include:

    • AI is now more than an execution, than an innovation problem.

    • Performance infrastructure stacks are increasingly becoming wide 'moats' that divide consumer, operating capabilities and success.

    • Enterprise AI production adoption, especially across regulated sector services, is a huge prize opportunity.

    • Operating models and internal skills roadmaps are lagging behind technological capability.

    • The UK & EU are leading the way in shaping new model of sovereign, regulated, enterprise-grade AI.

So how does this influence the way we deliver to our customer at Sedona?

    AI Strategy to AI Value

At Sedona Digital, we focus on helping customers accelerate AI execution and value realisation through services specifically designed for regulated environments. This includes building governance frameworks that enable rapid assessment and prioritisation of AI opportunities based on business impact, technical feasibility, and regulatory risk.

Through modernising process and data classification we inform architectural and data framework backlog, where metadata is a first-class citizen and critical AI enabler. Business adoption and production rollout accelerate when we implement transformed process KPI value monitoring and business agent UX observability.

    Azure Ecosystem

Our expertise across the Azure ecosystem allows us to combine access to natively hosted GPT and Claude LLMs with full stack application, infrastructure and tooling that has always prioritised compliance for regulated industries. This includes Azure APIM observability and orchestration of LLM API interactions, advanced Microsoft Purview classification to support evolving regulatory requirements, DPL controls, and architecture standards. Through established best practice, we leverage Microsoft indemnities through approved processes, architecture, and code practices to help mitigate the impact of negative LLM behaviour.

Agent-Enabled SDLC & SecOps for UK Financial Services

Specialising in UK Financial services, we put regulated tech and process at the core of our main practices. Across SDLC, our requirements management, coding and QA are agent-enabled and regulated FS process hardened.

Similarly, our SecOps and Data practices align to FS risk, compliance, and audit to support FCA, PRA and EU AI act demands.

Our nearshore and UK talent pipelines pull in the best talent with Insurance and Banking pedigree, process, data, and application savvy that are a strong cultural fit for our customers.

Tech Roadmaps for Bank & Insurers

From the privileged perspective of working at the CTO/IT roadmap level with many banks and insurers, we help customers take a forward-looking approach to tech operations model changes. We prioritise capability-first moves by value, whilst minimising impacts of continuous cultural and technical change. Sedona delivers consulting to determine the main changes to tech ops required to enable the next 12-24 months of value return from the tech roadmap. We assess and enable confident conclusion on the best approach to build or change capabilities and teams, supported by a hybrid of augmentation, training, turnkey project, and outsourcing options.

Depending on our customer needs, we provide short or long-term team augmentation, practice setup, and knowledge transfer to accelerate key new tech ops capabilities such as AI governance, tier-1 application production assurance or fully agentic SDLC without bottlenecks.

How We're Leading on UK Regulated Risk Operations

We have evolved our practice focused on delivering risk operations frameworks that aligns specifically to UK sovereignty and regulation. Combining strong SOC and data platform ops principles, regulation and audit become first class requirements and architectural components. We’re building up this practice and accelerators in collaboration with our customers to lead the way in solutions that directly address UK regulation as it evolves to increasingly high risk & value AI applications. This in itself becomes a key execution enabler, and path to production accelerator.
